AI Limitations and Disclaimers

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must not share your account credentials with others
• You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited activities

Your Content

• You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service
• You grant us a license to process your content to provide the Service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to upload and process your content
• You must not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights

AI-Generated Content

• AI responses are generated based on your input and uploaded documents
• You may use AI-generated content subject to these Terms
• We do not claim ownership of AI-generated content created in your workspace
• You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content before use

Data Processing Rights

By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• We may process your content to create embeddings and indexes for RAG functionality
• Your content may be sent to third-party AI providers for processing
• We implement appropriate safeguards to protect your data during processing
• You have the right to delete your content and associated AI processing data

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Service to:

• Upload or process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI models
• Use the Service to create competing AI products or services
• Overwhelm our systems with excessive requests or usage
• Share access credentials or circumvent usage limitations
• Upload malware, viruses, or other malicious code
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

AI-Specific Restrictions

• Do not attempt to manipulate AI responses for harmful purposes
• Do not use the Service to generate misleading or false information
• Do not upload content intended to bias or corrupt AI responses
• Do not use AI outputs to make critical decisions without human review

Subscription and Billing

Paid Subscriptions

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled

Free Trial

• Free trials are limited to one per user or organization
• Trial limitations may apply to features, usage, or storage
• Trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Damages resulting from AI inaccuracies or errors
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Third-party actions or content

Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings
• We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately
• We will delete your data according to our Privacy Policy

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on our website
• Sending email notifications to registered users
• Displaying in-app notifications

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
